University of Bern: LHEP, ITP and AEC
The Laboratory for High Energy Physics (LHEP) is a division of the Physics Institute at the University of Bern. The LHEP is engaged in high energy physics and in the development of new particle detectors, as well as in neutrino physics and medical applications of particle physics. The Albert Einstein Center for Fundamental Physics (AEC), including the LHEP and ITP, was established at the University of Bern in 2011. The AEC is focused on experimental and theoretical particle physics and their applications, e.g. in the medical sector. Also worth mentioning are the creation of spin-offs and outreach activities. EPFL Lausanne: IPEP and ITP
The Institut de physique de l'énergie et des particules (IPEP) at the EPFL Lausanne is divided in five groups: the Plasma Research Center, the Laboratory of Astrophysics, the Laboratory for Particle Accelerators Physics, the Laboratory for High Energy Physics and the Laboratory for Reactor Physics and System Behaviour. ETH Zürich: IPP and ITP

Paul Scherrer Institute: LTP
The Labor für Teilchenphysik (LTP) at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) in Villigen investigates the fundamental particles and the forces acting between them. Researchers at PSI study among other things pions, muons and neutrons. They have at their disposal special knowledge in detector building, in electronics and in chip designing.
